NEW – One-to-one tutorials on your own travel writing or photography:

  • A rare opportunity to discuss your creative work and plans with an established professional.

  • Half-hour slots available throughout Saturday and Sunday.
  • Must be pre-booked: only 18 tickets available each day.

PHOTOGRAPHY TUTORIALS are led by members of the British Guild of Travel Writers who are travel photographers.

WRITING TUTORIALS are led by members of the British Guild of Travel Writers, the main professional body in this field.

Choose your timing


You can choose two preferred times for your Creative Tutorial. The following times are still available:

  • SATURDAY PHOTOGRAPHY sold out.
  • SATURDAY WRITING sold out.
  • SUNDAY PHOTOGRAPHY sold out.
  • SUNDAY WRITING sold out.
  • These times are current as of today (Monday, 20 May 2013).

If your times are for any reason unavailable, we will contact you to arrange a different time or a refund.

Tutorials can be booked with either a photography or a writing tutor, but not both in one session. If you wish to discuss both media, please book two separate tutorials.

Exclusive service

Tutorials are only available to festival attenders. They can be booked at the same time as your day ticket, by adding to your shopping cart.

Tutorials should be bought for the day on which you hold or are buying a ticket, since they do not give access to the festival on their own.
